About me
I’m Joanna, a registered Art Psychotherapist. I describe my practice as creative psychotherapy, as I invite you to be playful through art, music, metaphor and the things we can connect and relate to most in life.
Since completing my art therapy training, I have worked with children from 5-years-old to the inner child within adults. I have experience of working across education, social care, charity and private sectors providing both therapy and working within organisations to provide further therapeutic oversight.
Prior to becoming a therapist I worked within mental health secure inpatients settings, supporting and coordinating risk assessed activity programmes which are inclusive for all.
I am passionate about recognising the impact of social systems on us as children and how this translates into adulthood and future identities. I have extensive experience working with loss and developmental trauma.
